Shandong Remo Steel Co., Ltd., a rising force in China’s steel pipe manufacturing industry, announced the successful commissioning of its new high-end seamless steel pipe production line. The project marks a significant step forward for the company in the premium seamless tube segment, strengthening its position in both domestic and international markets.
According to company executives, the new production line utilizes advanced hot-rolling and cold-drawing technologies, with an annual capacity of 150,000 tons. It focuses on producing high-precision, high-strength seamless steel pipes in carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel grades. Key specifications include outer diameters ranging from 10mm to 820mm and various wall thicknesses tailored for demanding applications.“Quality and innovation are at the core of our development strategy,” said Mr. Zhang Wei, General Manager of Shandong Remo Steel Co., Ltd. “This new line allows us to better serve customers in the oil and gas, power generation, petrochemical, and machinery sectors with reliable, high-performance seamless pipes that meet international standards such as API 5L, ASTM A106, and DIN/EN specifications.”Strategic Focus on High-End MarketsThe new facility emphasizes products suitable for high-pressure, high-temperature, and corrosive environments. These include boiler tubes, heat exchanger tubes, OCTG (oil country tubular goods) pipes, and precision mechanical tubes. Company sources indicate that a significant portion of the output is already earmarked for export to markets in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
Shandong Remo Steel has invested heavily in quality control systems, including advanced non-destructive testing (NDT), ultrasonic inspection, and full traceability from raw material to finished product. The company holds ISO 9001, API, and other key certifications, ensuring compliance with stringent global requirements.
